Description
With this cycle path we go up the most important branch of the river Po, visiting some little known places like the Finance Tower, realised in the early eighteenth century in order to control the access to the mouth of the river Po, to collect tolls and defend. We visit Oasi Canneviè as well, an important valley wreck of a larger complex of lagoons, surrounding Pomposa Abbey, and the “casoni” used as a storage of tools for fishing. The last stop is the complex of Pomposa, among the most visited and cultural places of the region.
